TOWN OF KIRKWOOD, N.Y. (WBNG) — Broome County Executive Jason Garnar and Commissioner of the Department of Public Works Leslie Boulton announced that a section of Colesville Rd. will be closed starting Monday. They say Colesville Rd. is a County-owned road in the town of Kirkwood, and the roadwork is estimated to end November 1, 2020, at 3 p.m. Officials say all thru traffic will need to find alternative routes. Additionally, there will be a detour in place. In a press release, Garnar and Boulton say the closure will be limited to the intersection of Colesville Rd. and Stratmill Rd. to the intersection of Colesville Rd. and North Rd. with access available to local traffic only.
