More from newsParks and wildlife the new lust-haves post coronavirus16 hours agoNoosa’s best beachfront penthouse is about to hit the market16 hours ago… and you can work off a big meal while admiring that same view from the gym.The home also has a self-contained level with its own kitchenette. Then there’s the master bedroom, with an enormous walk-in robe that has to be seen to be believed. “The master wardrobe is more like our shop, with space galore to see shoes, bags, clothes and jewellery, without moving things around – it’s a dream come true,’’ Ms Panettiere said.“And to top it off, my own makeup area, including a sink, so it’s all out of the bathroom, my husband says.” The masterpiece home was designed by Gold Coast-based Pillar Consulting, using designs and ideas sketched by the Panettieres inspired during their global travels. “One amazing piece, the glass floor on level two which looks down to the ground entry, even into the pool and spa, was from the Skywalk in Las Vegas. We couldn’t not fit this into the designs,’’ Ms Panettiere said. “It’s our own ‘New York view’, looking over the Brisbane River, across from New Farm Park to the city, and a skyline that goes on and on,’’ Ms Panettiere said. For Ms Panettiere, the kitchen and entertainment space on level three is a personal favourite. “I have always liked separate ovens for my cooking – meats in one, sweets in the other – and yes, I love cooking so there’s nothing like a steam oven too,’’ she said.“A perfect size walk-in pantry to have entertaining platters set up and ready to go was always a must in design.“The kitchen and entertainment spaces are always a hub in a family home so wherever you are you are not left out of communications and fun.” This hilltop house at Norman Park could rival a luxury apartment buildingIT HAS six levels and so many features it could be a luxury apartment complex. But this is no residental tower – it is a hilltop home at Norman Park. The owners of 53 Wendell St, Sharon and Michael Panettiere, designed and built their dream home three years ago after a lengthy search for the perfect block of land. The view from the kitchen and dining room is spectacular …Ms Panettiere said the kitchen was definitely a favourite space with the family as it was very organised.“I have plenty of fridges and our teppanyaki plate for when my husband cooks up a storm,’’ she said. The home has a nine-person lift which travels between the multiple living areas.Other features of the property are a swimming pool, an eight-person spa, gym and an office. There is also an oversized cocktail bar, theatre room with optic fibre lights, projector, surround sound and elevated seating. The builders were family, the Panettieres – who have completed multiple prestige homes and residential towers. The home has a six-car basement carpark, imported fixtures and fittings and ducted and zoned airconditioning. There is a security intercom and the house has custom-built joinery throughout. No expense, idea or design feature was spared in the creation of the home. “To say we will miss this home would be an understatement,’’ Ms Panettiere said.“But because of the hard work and determination of my husband when embarking on this project, we will be forever grateful to see it go to the next generation to enjoy.’’ The property is listed with Damon Warat at Ray White Ascot and David Price of Ray White East Brisbane, with tenders closing on September 25. There’s also a host of little inclusions which make the home so special. “The cellar – with space to keep the special wines and have social games of chess or cards, to chill out after a big day – is always a pleasure,” Ms Panettiere said.A timber feature which surrounds the front door was salvaged from the property’s old jetty, and includes the original nails and bolts. “I wanted to include some of the old charm within the design and have it be a notable feature from the moment you enter,’’ Ms Panettiere said.

In his past two starts he has thrown a total of 14 inning and struck out 11. In that span he hasn’t allowed a walk. He gets a bad Miami offense in the comfy confines of Marlins Park, making him my top play on both slates for cash games.Buster Posey, C, Giants @ Nationals. It’s not often you get to roster Posey so cheaply, but his early-season struggles have him priced low. Today isn’t a great slate for catchers on DK, so it may be best to find a cheap punt play with upside. Posey fits that bill.MORE: Wednesday’s MLB Betting Picks | Fantasy Alarm PRO ToolsJustin Smoak, 1B, Blue Jays @ Twins. Smoak seems to be over the neck stiffness that sidelined him a few games last week and has been walking more than he is striking out. Now that he is healthy, he should start jacking some more home runs. He gets a struggling Jake Odorizzi and is fairly priced on both FanDuel and DraftKings.Brandon Lowe, 2B, Rays vs. Orioles. Lowe is hitting .286/.349/.554 with four home runs and two stolen bases for the Rays. Injuries have given him the playing time, and now that he has it, he is making the most of it. David Hess isn’t much of an obstacle for the Rays, so I will be firing a bunch of them up today.Marcus Semien, SS, A’s vs. Astros. The best options for SS today are in the risky weather games, so it may be best to punt the position. If you are looking for a non-punt solution, Semien is going up against Wade Miley and has been better over his career versus lefthanded pitching. OFS. Choo (L)[email protected] 8:05M. With three fewer games on FD, I tried to make a note of when a pick is FanDuel specific. Keep an eye on the weather reports for the Blue Jays-Twins, as it’s supposed to pour early, putting it at risk of being delayed or postponed. The Angels-Rangers game also has some risk because of hail. I have left the writeups in for those games, but I added a few extra in just in case either or both is postponed. There isn’t much great pitching available today, though many SPs have been getting killed no matter the slate. 2BUPGRADE OFUPGRADE OFUPGRADE 3BUPGRADE OFUPGRADE SSUPGRADE OFUPGRADE SPUPGRADE Josh Donaldson, 3B, Braves vs. Diamondbacks. Yeah, yesterday sucked, but Donaldson has turned it around as of late. After starting out slow, he is hitting .391/.517/.826 with two home runs over the past week. His exit velocity is in the top two percent of the league and his hard-hit percentage is in the top eight percent. Zack Godley has been hit or miss this season and could be good for a bomb against a hot Atlanta lineup.Shin-Soo Choo, OF, Rangers vs. Angels. Choo is perpetually underrated, but he leads off for the Rangers and is crushing the ball right now. His hard-hit percentage is in the top two percent of the league and exit velocity is in the top nine percent. He has raised his launch angle from six percent to almost 12 percent, so while the homers haven’t happened yet, they are coming. Matt Harvey should be able to help with that. For more player recommendations and analysis, become a Fantasy Alarm subscriber today!
